The argument for sovereign data solutions is growing louder.
And rightly so.
Depending on solutions from providers who can decide to disable services, either fully or partially for political, military or other reasons is a recipe for disaster.
Managed encryption is vitally important but tacking that onto services which remain embedded in the Microsoft/Google/Amazon ecosystem remains a step in the wrong direction.
The ultimate answer is one we have delivered to our clients for over a decade now.
The answer is Zanshur.
Our fully managed Zanshuri Eterna service remains completely compatible with Microsoft and Apple datasets whilst being built on the open-source Linux software platform. This means licensing issues are eradicated and political intrusion is rendered largely impossible. I write “largely” because politics is a rapidly changing landscape.
At Zanshuri we further separate ourselves from the pack by encouraging a look into our history and recognising how that relates to what we do today.
Zanshuri began as a computer systems manufacturer. That is rare as a anything. A British, hardware manufacturer which designs and builds it own hardware. We did not disappear like Amiga, Atari or Time (remember them) because we concentrated on our niche product. Powerful, ultra-efficient computers with a focus on reliable data processing, devoid of all the bells and whistles.
We continue to manufacture computers today, with a much greater emphasis on rack and pedestal server systems, all capable of running server software from Microsoft or Linux.
And the final piece of the Zanshuri puzzle is our UK based datacentres.
Today, every Zanshuri datacentre is on the UK mainland. We do not rent rack-space. We do not share servers with other providers. We invested in our own datacentres in the knowledge that our focus on energy efficiency was such that our datacentres use no more energy than a similarly sized office block. No more water either. That means we can offer a level of resilience which is alien to everybody else.
Zanshuri is the ideal sovereign data provider. Our own hardware, running protected software, from our own bases in the UK. With hardware encryption, on-premises security, trained cyber aware staff and multi-layer backup ensuring data resilience, energy efficiency and uptime capability which you can depend on.
Our other clients already do.
