Zanshuri – frequently asked questions

How old is Zanshuri?
Zanshuri was formally established in 2010, providing freelance technical support services in Central London.

Which companies/organisations have worked with Zanshuri?
IBM Systems, the ICAEW, the Metropolitan Police Service, Zurich Insurance and various government bodies have all used Zanshuri systems and services. We also work on security sensitive operations and are able to offer SC and DV level personnel for these purposes. Contact us to learn more.

Will my Zanshuri computer system run on mains power?
Yes, all Zanshuri computer systems are supplied with mains units which allow them to be connected to a standard wall plug. The plug type you receive is determined by the country to which the delivery has been addressed, unless you specify otherwise when ordering. All our standard systems are able to run on solar power also, and are at least 3 times more efficient than their equivalents from most PC vendors. Some can run on a 12 volt DC feed so are well suited to solar, marine, industrial or mobile applications. Even our bespoke solutions are designed with efficiency in mind.

We just bought a Zanshuri PC with Windows installed. What is our username and password?
The default username is “user” and password is “password”, all in lower-case and without quotes. We suggest that you change those details to something secure which you’ll remember as soon as you can. You’ll also notice that we do not install any bloatware on our systems.

Can Zanshuri produce bespoke systems for us?
Yes indeed, this is something we are happy to discuss. We have built 1U, 2U and 4U rack server PDU equipped solutions, diminutive micro-systems and so on. We can develop solutions based on our current line-up, or create a system entirely based on your needs, through industrial metalwork, vacuum forming and 3D printing.

Is there a warranty for Zanshuri systems and services?
Yes, we offer a 2 year Return to Base warranty as standard for all our systems and a 30-day refund policy. Bespoke arrangements can be discussed also. Our computer systems really are super-reliable. However, our work is underwritten by Lloyds Insurance Services and any business discussions will be supported with a defined SLA.

Are Zanshuri systems in use all over the world?
Yes, we have successfully shipped systems worldwide.

Can I make my purchase with a credit card?
Yes, we accept payments by credit card, debit card, bank transfer and Paypal. More information available on our payment page.

Is the Zanshuri online payments system secure?
Yes indeed. Once you begin the purchase process, a separate secure page is opened on your browser. You will be prompted on this page to adjust the number of items you require, as well as entering your delivery details and so on. There is also the option to return to the rest of the website once you select the “continue shopping” option.

Do you offer a VAT free option or bulk discounts?
Yes we will be happy to discuss this with you. Please contact us to find out more, info@zanshuri.com or telephone us on the number below.

Anything to say about the blog?
The Zanshuri blog features the thoughts and opinions of each individual writing an update. Blog content is not always serious and our subtle attempts at humour are perhaps too successful in their subtlety and less so in their humour. So unless stated otherwise in an individual post, the blog does not represent the ethos of the entire business. Although sometimes serious in its content, it is written with light-hearted intent.
